Travel Tips - Tourist Information Center in Seoul

The center is a one-stop provider of information on tourism and living in Seoul. The helpful staff will answer any questions you might have concerning your stay and provide valuable tips on how to make the best of your time in Korea. The center has at its disposal a variety of resources about Seoul, and visitors can take advantage of free Internet access or take in the free movie showings.
Tourist Information
State-of-the-art touch screens allow visitors to get the information they need in a fast and convenient manner. You can even use them to make hotel and tour reservations. Need a human touch? Multilingual staff are on hand to assist you in making travel and tourism plans.
Internet Café
Use the World Wide Web for free, and should you get lost on the Information Highway, the helpful staff are there to help.
Theater
Seoul in multimedia form. Check out the center’s collection of video tapes, laser disks and compact disks that might provide you with information and inspiration for your stay. The promotional video “Seoul Fantasia” plays three times a day at 10:00, 13:00 and 16:00. Want to reserve the theater for screen conferences or presentations? Just ask.
Exhibit Hall
On display here are photos, documents and models representing Seoul past, present and future. Check out the model of the streetcars that used to ply the streets of Seoul, or maybe you’d like to check out a sample of the digital IDs that will soon make the lives of Seoulites that much easier.
Consulting Service
Experts provide the foreign resident with tons of useful advice for living in Seoul, including help with taxes, housing, construction and legal affairs.
Gift Shop and Lounge
Pick up one of the excellent publications published by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. Browse the gift shop for souvenirs. Or just take a load off your feet at the comfortable lounge.

Tourist Information Centers
Across Seoul you’ll find Seoul Tourist Information Centers staffed by friendly and knowledgeable staff who’ll go out of their way to provide you with the information you want and make your stay as pleasant as possible. Pick up a city map, brochures in several languages, and get useful information on tours, shopping, dining, accommodations and other tourism-related subjects. Other than the one in Seoul Information Center (which is closed Sunday), all Tourist Information Centers are open every day from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from March to October and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. November to February.
